Is 800 mg ibuprofen safe while feeding?

I was given 800mg Ibuprofen when I was nursing my first born at the hospital shortly after giving birth. I was given the meds for the pain from the birth, and it had no adverse effects. Of course confirm with your doctor, but I believe it is OK.
