Questions about the race track industry program.?
some racing management or official jobs are racing secretary or commissioner, stewards; there are jobs that deal with paperwork, licenseing people, etc; there are photographers and announcers, i talked with a couple of guys at a track in ohio, race secretary i think, they said they were getting paid crappy wages and no benfits, probably depends on the track or area though; trainers, owners, and jockeys pay is almost always based upon how well your horses are doing; as for rewarding that depends upon what you want to accomplish, you could always start out as a jockey or trainers apprentice and work your way up to trainer and then to owner, if thats something you want to do
