If a client decides to sue me will I be able to counter sue?

I'm a hair stylist and I did a young girls hair a few weeks ago I guess I put to much blonde in it which is the easiest fix in the world. She went somewhere else to get it how she wanted it and apparently while she was there the girls mom was talking pretty seriously about sueing me for it.. The other stylist called me today to give me a heads up.. They also made up lies about how much I charged, that she didn't want high lights all over, didn't want it that blonde, that she told me she didn't like it and I refused to fix it.. This all is a lie and I know its my word against hers but I would be willing to take a lie detector test.. Her hair was not damaged fried falling out ect she just didn't like the color which was fixable.. If she decides to sue me can I counter sue for my student loans, slander and any potential clients / money lost? We live in a really small town this would totally ruin my reputation and put me out of business I would have to find a different job ect.. knowing what I know about hair I don't think she has a solid case but u never no..
