Will Michael Finleys number be retired by the Mavericks once he retires?

I would definitely believe so. This is not a knock on the Dallas Mavericks, but their list of notable players is rather short. Finley most definitely stands out in my mind (along with Mark Aguirre, Rolando Blackman, and Dirk) as you put it, THE Maverick. So yes, I would hope the organization would pay their respects to a guy whom helped them through good and bad times, as Michael Finley did.
