I wnat to get a tattoo in honor of my dad he is not ped yet but he is my hero and he means alot to me?

I think that's great.My dad ped away in 2006 and I got a huge set of tribal wings that says daddy and his D.O.B and D.O.D in the middle.I think a tat is a great way of showing love and respect.go for it.
